Scentsy Story
I have been a candle, incense stick and oil burner girl since being a teenager, my friend Jo refers to it as my 'hippy side'. Seeing the rising price of candles and getting my second Labrador with the helicopter tail really meant that you could not keep anything low down on tables as the risk of setting the house on fire was quite great, and not really something I was up for. I had heard of Scentsy before but had been put off by my allergies, hay fever and chronic rhinitis and I thought it would be like walking through the perfume counter at boots, over powering and not pleasant.
What changed? I attend a party of a friend and purchased a discovery box....... fully expecting it to set my allergies off and it be a NO! How wrong was I?
Since I can't have fresh flowers in the house for too long as the pollen gets to me, this is a wonderful way to have my home smelling a lot less dog and lot nicer without being overpowering. I also love the fact I can choose the intensity of the scent by how many cubes to use. I also don't have to wait to burn the candle all the way out until I change the scent!
It has taken me years to take the plunge with Scentsy but I love the way the warmers make a statement in your home, as much as a lamp or vase do, or not ....... they can be suttle and hidden.
I have experience in running other businesses, but joining Scentsy for me is about sharing this with friends, family and those friends I haven't met yet 😉
